Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with readiness to provide clinical services to residents.
• Ability to evaluate residents using muscle, neurological, gait and functional tests.
• Experience or willingness to work in long-term health care settings.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy in compliance with all applicable standards and Bethany Village policies.
• Interacts with residents, families and health professionals to maximize rehabilitation.
• Evaluates residents and establishes treatment goals with input from residents.
• Develops treatment programs and provides ongoing assessments and modifications.
• Maintains timely and accurate records including evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Follows OSHA and infection control policies and ensures resident safety at all times.
• Adheres to privacy policies and organizational procedures regarding protected health information.
• Onboards new employees and performs other duties as directed.
