Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and develop coordinated treatment plans. You will implement interventions, monitor progress, and ensure accurate documentation while educating patients and families for safe home exercise and independence.

You will collaborate across disciplines, mentor assistants, and uphold the hospital's values of excellence, compassion, and integrity in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) with active license
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Master's degree required
• One year of related experience and/or training preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Delivering evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain
• Monitoring progress, refining therapy plans, and documenting outcomes
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices
• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
• Mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding hospital values
