Job summary

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA. Under supervision, assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain and increase independence.

This PRN position offers up to 29 hours weekly with a salary of $55.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Assess, plan and implement rehabilitative treatment programs.
• Instruct clients in home treatment procedures and exercises.
• Collaborate with medical staff to tailor rehab goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate progress and adjust treatments to maximize benefit.
• Record prognosis, treatment and progress in client charts.
• Document and report client performance and outcomes to care team.
• Assist in health promotion and community rehabilitation activities.
