HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL seeks a Physical Therapist for PRN/Per Diem to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence. You will work with physicians and care teams to design meaningful therapy plans and provide goal-oriented rehabilitation across inpatient and acute-care settings.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on safe exercises and adaptive techniques, while mentoring students and staff as

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• B.S. or M.S. in Physical Therapy.
• Clear/active Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and document outcomes accurately.
