Job summary

HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a PRN role. You will evaluate patients, design personalized plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to restore movement and reduce pain.

You will monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families on safe exercises and independent activities. Collaboration across disciplines and mentoring students are encouraged as part of our team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• B.S. or M.S. in Physical Therapy.
• Clear/active Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitoring progress, refining plans, and documenting outcomes.
• Educating patients and families on exercises, techniques, and safety.
• Collaborating across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care.
• Leading by example and mentoring therapy assistants or students.
