Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in a PRN capacity. You will assess, evaluate, plan, and carry out physical therapy programs to restore maximum function and independence for patients. Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver evidence-based interventions and educate patients and families on exercise and safety.

Requirements include Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist, B.S. or M.S. in Physical Therapy, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain
• Monitor progress and refine therapy plans
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive patient-centered care
• Mentor therapy assistants or students
