Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for PRN/Per Diem coverage in Florida. You will assess patients, develop personalized therapy plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.

Collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team is essential to deliver patient-centered care. You’ll monitor progress, document outcomes, educate patients and families, and mentor therapy assistants while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values of

Qualifications

State licensed Physical Therapist required.
Bachelor's degree minimum.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
Monitor progress and document outcomes accurately and timely.
Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.
Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care.
Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA values.
