Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's, Master’s, and/or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited Program.
• Physical Therapy License (Required)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competency in therapy treatment and evaluation principles, techniques, and materials, including equipment utilization.
• Knowledge of state and federal accreditation standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluate, review, and screen patient’s/resident’s medical charts, evaluations under physician order, and develop a treatment plan based on patient needs.
• Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and educate treatment staff, including therapists and other team members.
• Provide supervision for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality of all medical, facility, and rehab-related information.
• Maintain accurate billing information daily.
• Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations.
• Ensure documentation compliance.
• Conduct staff and family training and education as appropriate.
