Job summary

University Physical Therapy is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist for our outpatient clinic in Roanoke, VA. The role focuses on implementing therapy programs, following recovery plans, and delivering treatments to restore and enhance patients' abilities.

The successful candidate will be CAPTE-accredited, hold a Virginia PT license and CPR certification, and work autonomously within a collaborative team. We offer training, mentorship, and competitive hourly pay with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state of Virginia Physical Therapy license and CPR certification.
• Able to create outpatient balance and vestibular rehab treatment plans.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Timely documentation including daily notes and progress reports.
• Administers physical therapy treatments and modalities (manual therapy, heat, ultrasound, etc.).
• Instructs and assists patients in functional activities and ambulation.
• Monitors patient responses and reports to supervising PT/Clinical Director.
