Job summary

Springtree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a caring Physical Therapist licensed in Virginia or actively pursuing licensure to join our experienced rehabilitation team. The therapist evaluates residents, develops treatment plans, and obtains physician approval for service.

Treat residents according to the plan and participate in discharge planning while recording evaluations and charges. Supervises PTAs and Aides and screens residents for PT needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold Virginia Physical Therapy License or be actively pursuing licensure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops treatment plans.
• Obtains approval for service from the referring physician and treats residents per plan.
• Participates in discharge planning and documents evaluations, treatment, and charges.

Full-Time/Part-Time Temporary Position is available to cover an exteded medical leave. Compensation is open to discussion. PRNs can also be considered.

The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to the physician’s treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.

Requirements
