Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide day-shift OT services at Banner Baywood in Mesa, AZ. The role involves evaluation, planning and supervision of OT treatment for patients under physician referral, with self-scheduling from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Sundays through Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an OT program approved by the governing board.
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient functional abilities and establish a plan of care.
• Implement individualized OT treatment per physician referral and patient needs.
• Document treatment progress and discharge planning per standards.
• Communicate results to physicians, nurses, patients and families clearly and timely.
• Adapt treatment to caseload and schedule; support other patient care areas as needed.
• Supervise related staff and students; ensure competency and task delegation.
• Support department operations and productivity standards.
• Interact with staff, physicians, families and external providers to coordinate care.
