Job summary

Prodigy Rehabilitation Group, Inc. in Pomona, CA is seeking a part-time PTA to join our in-house therapy team for about 8 weeks, starting the end of September.

The 20-hour week role collaborates with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services across our community settings. You will assist with treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and maintain compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in California is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with medical regulations.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Job description

Starting the end of September, our In-House therapy department has need for a 20/hour a week PTA. The duration would be for appproximatley 8 weeks. You will work collaboratively with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality therapy services across diverse settings. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Mt. San Antonio Gardens, a beautiful community in Pomona, CA, with IL, AL and SNF, is taking their therapy department in-house to better serve their residents.

Hourly Rate: $43.00 - $45.00
