What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting.
2. Implement the patient's Care Plan under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, helping patients participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and billing documentation.
4. Document patient care according to regulatory and accreditation standards.
5. Instruct family members or nursing staff in follow-up programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
7. Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program leading to an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
3. CPR certification (if required).
