What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a secure setting as part of a team.
2. Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation. Support patients with mental and/or physical impairments to participate in tasks that restore and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and document daily charges.
4. Accurately document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
5. Educate patients’ families and nursing staff on follow-up programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
7. Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA program leading to an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
3. CPR certification (if required).
