What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care within a team in a secure setting.
2. Implement the patient's Care Plan under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, assisting patients with tasks to restore, reinforce, and improve their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and record-keeping.
4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
5. Educate patients' families and nursing staff on follow-through programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
7. Perform responsibilities in accordance with the company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
3. CPR certification (if required).
