What you will do in this role:

• Provide quality, compassionate care within a team in a secure setting
• Assist under the supervision of the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation, helping impaired patients participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges to patient records daily
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition
• Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided
• CPR certification (if required)
