What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting within a secure environment.
2. Assist under the supervision of the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation. Support patients with physical and/or mental impairments to participate in tasks that restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards.
5. Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
7. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are rendered.
3. CPR certification (as required).
