Rehab Solutions at Home is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our East Texas branch, covering Canton, Edgewood, Wills Point, and surrounding areas.

You will assist in implementing therapy plans, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and document care in accordance with facility policies. This role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay in a supportive, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality home health care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a PTA, or license eligible.
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and healthcare team for coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
  
• Treatment and Education: Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
  
• Documentation: Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
