Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, you will help treat patients by following individual plans of care.

You will assist with implementing treatment programs, document patient progress, communicate with the PT, rehab director, and staff, and operate standard physical therapy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
