Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Granite City, IL. You will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to assist in implementing individualized plans of care and help patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes.

You will participate in treatment sessions, document patient responses, and communicate with the supervising PT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
