Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will help implement treatment programs, monitor patient progress, document responses to therapies, and communicate with the PT, rehab director, and facility staff to ensure quality care and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by following an individualized plan of care.
• Develop and implement PT treatment programs with the supervising therapist.
• Assist with all phases of physical therapy treatments and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record responses in charts.
• Provide ongoing communication with the Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply standard physical therapy equipment.

• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
