Job summary

Oasis Therapy Services in Illinois is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to assess and develop individualized therapy programs that facilitate rehabilitation and restore patient function. You will supervise assistants, educate patients and caregivers, and work with a compassionate team to promote independence and improved quality of life for seniors.

CPR certification is preferred and a Physical Therapy License is required.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy License is required to practice.
• CPR certification preferred for emergency readiness.
• CPR certification and licensure must comply with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Identify need for referrals to other disciplines to address patient needs.
• Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in skills essential for promoting independence.
• Supervise PT Assistants and students in accordance with licensure requirements.

Position: PRN Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing the need for, developing and delivering physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
• Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
