Job summary

Qualifications

• Phlebotomist Certification preferred but not required.
• One-year phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients and the community in a respectful manner.
• Collects specimens per established procedures and ensures proper processing.
• Identifies patients accurately and matches identity with service to ensure safety.
• Performs data entry and specimen processing (labeling, centrifuging, splitting, freezing).
• Handles clerical duties such as inventory checks and answering phones as needed.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
