Job summary

Vista Specialty Hospital of California LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipunctures on hospital patients and assist the Clinical Laboratory as needed. The role includes collecting blood specimens, blood cultures and crossmatches for Blood Bank, with required phlebotomy training and certification.

BLS is mandatory and certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. The candidate should have a high school diploma and prior phlebotomy experience, ensuring accurate, timely specimen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with phlebotomy training.
• Current phlebotomy certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum prior experience as a phlebotomist.
