Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley seeks a Pharmacy Technician II Certified to support daily workflow in our hospital pharmacy. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will prepare and dispense medications, manage inventory, and perform IV admixture while complying with state and federal laws and The Joint Commission requirements.

This is a PRN position with 5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period. A 15% differential enhances the base pay, and you will stay updated on policy changes and regulatory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• 6 months compounding of IV medication.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state where employed (PHARMTECH:XX).
• Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, distributes, and delivers medications in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks in the department.
• Maintains stock levels and operates automated medication delivery systems.
• Participates in quality assurance and documents accordingly.
• Handles IV admixture and hazardous/chemotherapy medication as applicable.
