Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Mountain Point in Lehi, Utah, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II Certified to support daily pharmacy workflow under a pharmacist. Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medications, IV admixture, inventory management, and billing/crediting functions in compliance with state and federal laws.

The role emphasizes sterile compounding, aseptic technique, controlled-substance handling, and adherence to Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/G.E.D.
6 months compounding of IV medication
Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state in which the employee works, PHARMTECH:UT
Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing in the state in which the employee works as required by the state

Responsibilities

Prepares, distributes, and delivers medications in accordance with CSH policies, The Joint Commission requirements, and Department of Health regulations.
Performs clerical and administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of the department.
Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels while operating and maintaining automated medication delivery systems.
Participates in department quality assurance programs and maintains appropriate quality assurance documentation.
Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation, including regulatory compliance and the handling of hazardous/chemotherapy medication as applicable.
