UC Health is hiring a PRN Clinical Staff Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy Department at the University of Cincinnati’s Medical Center.
Clinical staff pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies, provide drug information, and supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a clinical staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Education: B.S. in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy is required. PharmD preferred degree.
License and Certification: Licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensure in the state of Ohio. ACLS preferred.
Years of Experience: Greater than or equal to a six-month hospital pharmacy internship or hospital experience as a pharmacist is preferred. Preference will be given to completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency program (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; work cooperatively with healthcare and pharmacy staff; handle interruptions and adapt to workload changes; set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond quickly to emergent requests; exercise sound professional judgment; communicate effectively (verbally and in writing); and meet the pharmaceutical care needs of UC Health's patient populations.

Expected starting salary range: $56.81/hr - $70.23/hr.
The actual pay rate depends on experience, skills, internal alignment, marketplace factors, and other requirements.
