Job summary

Nutex Health is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The role involves interpreting symptoms, providing immediate treatment, and referring patients to physicians when necessary, with emphasis on safe dispensing and patient education.

Responsibilities include compounding, monitoring drug therapies, immunizations, health screenings, and maintaining accurate records while complying with all regulatory requirements in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist or recent graduate from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Detailed understanding of dosage requirements, administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Proficient in computer usage and pharmacy management software.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor customers' drug therapies, advise interventions and inform about potential side effects.
• Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings and immunizations.
• Provide immunizations and other medical services, including measuring blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar levels.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment in the pharmacy.
• Complete pharmacy operational requirements, including verifying order entries and maintaining controlled substances records.
• Adhere to all legal regulations governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Perform other administrative tasks as necessary.
