Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate in pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Experience as a pharmacist or recent graduate from an accredited program.
• Strong understanding of dosage, administration, and drug interactions.
• Proficient with pharmacy management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer-focused with commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor drug therapies, advise on interventions, and inform about side effects.
• Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings.
• Provide immunizations and other medical services, including blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar checks.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment in the pharmacy.
• Complete pharmacy operational requirements and manage inventory records.
• Adhere to all legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Perform other administrative tasks as necessary.
