Westminster Senior Care Pharmacy in Orlando is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to evaluate physician orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, potential interactions, route of administration, and stability. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• 1-3 years LTC Pharmacy experience.
• Current licensure in the State of Florida.
• PRN staff must work at least 1 shift per month.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration.
• Conduct Drug Utilization Review (DUR) on prescriptions and review clinical edits.
• Maintain resident databases with medical history and current medications.
• Reconcile Controlled Substances Logs with inventory and dispensing records.
• Provide clinical guidance to staff and external customers; document communications.
• Schedule may include weekend and/or nights.
