Westminster Communities of Florida seeks a PRN Pharmacist for our Orlando location to review orders, ensure safety, and support resident care. You will evaluate drug therapy, monitor interactions, and maintain accurate patient records in a collaborative team setting.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD and Florida licensure, with LTC experience and strong organizational skills. Shift coverage includes nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• 1–3 years LTC pharmacy experience.
• Current licensure in Florida.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• PRN staff must work at least 1 shift per month.

Responsabilités

• Make recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff.
• Conduct Drug Utilization Review (DUR) on all prescriptions and review clinical edits for interactions.
• Maintain patient/resident databases with medical history, labs and current medications.
• Reconcile Controlled Substances Logs with inventory to comply with regulations.
• Provide clinical expertise by answering drug-related questions from staff and families.
• Document all communications in the medical record.
• Schedule may include weekend and/or nights.
