Job summary

Responsibilities include dispensing, counseling, immunizations, MTM, and regulatory 340B compliance; role covers adherence to HIPAA and PHI safeguards, with supervision of technicians as needed. This is a PRN, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Current immunization certification.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately.
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, interactions, and adherence.
• Administer immunizations and other pharmacist-provided clinical services.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain safe, efficient workflow.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safeguard PHI in the pharmacy.
• Address insurance claim issues and support prior authorization processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
