Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy Degree.
• Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Receives prescriptions, interprets prescriptions, and reviews patient medication profiles.
• Provides clinical interventions and optimal drug therapy recommendations.
• Compounds and dispenses medications, including sterile products.
• Counsels patients and families on pharmaceutical care issues.
• Directs workflow and supervises pharmacy technicians on shift.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Precepts students and participates in staff training.
