Blue Ridge Health is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team in Hendersonville, NC. This role offers the chance to work flexibly during weekdays with no night or weekend shifts.

The Pharmacist will prepare medications, provide pharmacological information to a multidisciplinary team, and monitor patient therapies while maintaining narcotics control and staying compliant with NC pharmacy laws.

Qualificações

• Pharmacist with BS Pharmacy degree.
• Ability to work weekdays with flexible scheduling.
• No nights or weekends; two weekdays available preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates activities with pharmacist manager by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
• Consults with staff Physicians on the use, characteristics, and effects of drugs.
• Maintains custody and control of narcotics.
• Ability to recognize physical, chemical, and therapeutic incompatibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacy, drug, narcotic, and related laws of the state of NC.
• Monitor and analyze the health of the patient, with respect to the drugs that have been given to patient.
