Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PET-CT Technologist for our South Florida sites. This PRN role focuses on safe, accurate PET/CT imaging and compassionate patient care across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include pre-screening for contraindications, radiation safety, acquiring high-quality images, and communicating with patients and radiologists.

Travel between sites may be required. Requirements: NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, CPR, state licensure if required, and 1–2 years in Nuclear Medicine.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification is required.
• CPR certification required.
• State licensure as required.
• 1–2 years Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety compliance.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists as needed.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
