Job summary

Seeds of Hope is seeking a Live-In Personal Support Aide to support individuals with daily living activities in a residential setting. The role requires compassionate care, assistance with personal tasks, and light housekeeping.

You will work a 7-on/7-off live-in schedule, covering 2pm–9am on Mondays and other shifts as needed, with rest periods from 9am–2pm on weekdays. A CNA/HHA assessment is available, and CPR certification is recommended.

PRN Personal Support Aide-Live In $14.00 hrly

• Full-time
• At Seeds of Hope, we work to create a structured environment for individuals with special needs, enhancing their quality of life and providing opportunities to reach their full potential.
• PRN Live-In (work 7 days on and 7 days off) Working Monday 2pm-Monday 9am
• You may have to cover a shift for a day or so
• You are off between the hours of 9am-2pm (Monday-Friday)
• Assist individuals with daily living activities at a residential care facility. Duties performed may include and are not limited to the following:
  • Administer personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance.
  • Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes or dishes, or running errands.
  • Care for individuals by providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles.
  • Perform healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication,
  • Transport individuals to locations outside the home, such as to physicians' offices or on outings, using a motor vehicle.
  • Plan, shop for, or prepare nutritious meals or assist families in planning, shopping for, or preparing nutritious meals.
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
• Evidence of a CNA or Home Health Aide Skills Assessment
  Certificate (If you are not licensed you must pass the Home Health Aide Skills Assessment which we offerhere. We do provide the in-house training).
• • Current CPR Certificate is recommended
  • Possess caring and understanding attitude toward individuals, who are elderly, disabled or frail
  • Be flexible and tolerant of varied lifestyles
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with clients.
  • One year experience providing support services in a similar environment (preferred)
  • Be able to work under supervision and within the guidelines of a care plan
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
• Basic Job Requirements are as follows:
