Job summary

CareRing Health seeks a compassionate Personal Care Aide to support patients in their homes under a nurse’s supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and report health changes to the nurse. You’ll help with meals, medication reminders, and keeping a clean, safe home environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with elderly clients, strong communication, and a patient-centered mindset. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with elderly individuals in residential, long-term care, or home health settings preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered mindset.
• Strong communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage patients in meaningful conversation, companionship, and social interaction
• Respond promptly to patient needs and requests for care
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to a licensed nurse
• Complete required documentation, including incident reports and change-of-condition reports
• Prepare and serve meals; assist with eating (excluding tube feeding)
• Support self-administration of medications as directed
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe immediate living environment (bedroom and bathroom)
