Job summary

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a PRN Pediatrician to join our Central Florida team. Board certified or eligible and licensed in Florida, you will support 11 clinic sites with flexible shifts and shared call coverage.

Responsibilities include outpatient care across locations, with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation if needed. This role offers a competitive salary on a per diem basis within a large health system in Central Florida.

Qualifications

• Active Florida medical license or ability to secure one.
• Board Certification in Pediatrics, or Board Eligible if <3 years out of training.
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN/PA-C).
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures: circumcisions, vaccines per AAP, CLIA waived labs.

Responsibilities

• Shared practice call coverage for evenings and weekends.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts to support patient access.
• Provide outpatient coverage across AdventHealth's 11 Central Florida clinics.
• Per diem position with competitive pay and benefits.

Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a PRN board certified/board eligible Pediatrician to join a well-established team located in Central Florida. The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility if less than 3 years out of training)
• Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations per AAP guidelines, CLIA waived labs

Physician Expectations:

• Shared practice call coverage for evenings and weekends
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early morning and/or evening hours, to support patient access and practice needs
• Ability to provide outpatient coverage across any of our 11 clinic locations in Central Florida
• Per diem position
