Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT seeks a Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a team focused on high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes outpatient management with occasional inpatient consultations on a dedicated pediatric floor and NICU.

The candidate should be board-eligible or certified in pediatric pulmonology, hold or pursue a Montana medical license, and participate in credentialing. Strong collaboration with nurses and pediatric specialists is expected.

  • Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage direct patient care, including exams, evaluations, and treatments.
  • Mostly outpatient care with occasional inpatient consults on a 12-bed pediatric floor, 5-bed PICU, and NICU.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and pediatric subspecialties throughout the day.

About this role:

As a Pediatric Pulmonologist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

  • PRN clinical rate of $155.00 per hour.
  • Travel expenses are reimbursed, including lodging, rental car, etc. Malpractice insurance is provided.
  • Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment.
  • You would provide mostly outpatient care with occasional inpatient consults in our combined 12-bed pediatric inpatient floor and 5-bed PICU as well as our level III NICU
  • Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with strong nursing support and other pediatric specialties

What you’ll bring:
  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • ACGME accredited residency training in Pediatrics
  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Pulmonology
  • American board certification/eligibility in required specialty.
  • Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Passion for pediatric pulmonology medicine
  • Experience preferred
