Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a team delivering high-quality outpatient and selective inpatient care for children. The role includes collaboration with nurses and pediatric specialists on a 12-bed pediatric inpatient floor, a 5-bed PICU, and a Level III NICU.

Qualifications

• MD/DO credential and medical license required.
• ACGME Pediatrics residency completion required.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology required or strongly preferred.

• DEA registration and BLS certification required.
• Credentialing process completion required.
• Inpatient experience with pediatric populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct pediatric patient care including exams, evaluations, and treatment.
• Outpatient services with occasional inpatient consults on pediatric floor, PICU, and Level III NICU.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and pediatric specialists throughout the day.

About this role

As a Pediatric Pulmonologist with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment.
• You would provide mostly outpatient care with occasional inpatient consults in our combined 12-bed pediatric inpatient floor and 5-bed PICU as well as our level III NICU.
• Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with strong nursing support and other pediatric specialties.
• Incentives: $25,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance, and up to $100,000 student loan repayment bonus (if applicable). We’re also PSLF eligible.

What you’ll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in Pediatrics
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonology
• Board certification or eligibility
• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Federal DEA Registration
• BLS certification
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Passion for rural patient care and prior inpatient experience highly preferred.
