ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeshore is seeking a dedicated patient care assistant to support nurses in delivering high-quality inpatient care. Responsibilities include basic patient care, reporting changes, maintaining safe and clean rooms, and adhering to infection prevention standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and proper body mechanics.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming).
• Reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintains clean, safe patient rooms and bed areas.
• Adheres to rounding and infection prevention standards.
• Responds to patient and family calls and requests promptly.
• Assists in ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
