Job summary

TriHealth Thomas Care Center in Montgomery, OH, is seeking a Unit Assistant to greet patients, coordinate appointments and records, and support Imaging Services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role offers weekday availability for students, PRN/Day shift with rotating weekends, and opportunities for professional growth. You will work under supervision of Clerical/Radiology staff, handle PACS tasks, enter orders, and assist with patient transport and comfort.

Qualifications

• Greeting patients and providing clerical support in Imaging Services.
• Entering orders and coordinating with radiology staff.
• Proficient in hospital information systems and PACS basics.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and assists with pre-admission and consents.
• Maintains records and completes paper work accurately.
• Coordinates with lead technologists the flow of patients in the department.
• Assists with patient observation and transport as needed.
• May start IVs as required.
