Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge/competency of the hospital information system.
• Uses phone techniques ensuring service excellence and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintains accurate records through paperwork completion.
• Greets patients, physicians, and staff with prompt, courteous service.
• Demonstrates organizational and communication skills.
• Coordinates patient flow with lead technologists; observes patients and assists with transport and personal needs.
• Recognizes patient status changes and calls for appropriate assistance.
• May start IVs as needed.
