Job summary

Mercy Health in Paducah, KY seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide basic health care and support under RN guidance, including sanitizing rooms, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily needs. The PCT will liaise between patient and nurse, deliver high-quality customer service, and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care including care and comfort, vital sign measurement, personal hygiene, and assists with mobility.
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Provides high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Documents patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participates in hand-off/report of pertinent information at arrival and departure.
