Job summary
Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patient care on the unit under professional staff supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient needs, and help ensure safe, compassionate care for diverse patient populations.
The role requires completing a PCT/Nursing Assistant program or current nursing-related coursework, BLS certification, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a certified Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant Program
- Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
- Or nursing student who completes the first semester of the nursing program
- Or documented military medic/corpsman experience
- Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required
- High school diploma or GED required
