Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in the Dallas area is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff and patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care and assist with admissions, discharges, and transport.

Requirements include graduation from a certified PCT/NA/MA program, or 1 year as a nursing assistant, or nursing student after the first semester, or EMT/paramedic, plus BLS and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a certified Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant Program
• Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
• Or nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of the nursing program
• Or documented military experience as a medic/corpsman
• Or foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the
• Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required
• High school diploma or GED required
