Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a PASRR Clinical Evaluator - PRN to support our California facilities with hybrid telehealth and in-person assessments in the Sacramento area.

You will perform PASRR Level II evaluations, develop level-of-care recommendations, and ensure compliance with government regulations and HIPAA while collaborating with healthcare teams and families. This role offers flexible, as-needed scheduling and opportunities to impact patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California licensure in healthcare or related field.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in the assessment/diagnosis of mental or psychiatric disorders.
• 1+ years of experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities or serious mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Perform PASRR Level II assessments with records review and collateral information.
• Develop evidence-based level-of-care recommendations for long-term placement.
• Review medical records and provide clinical recommendations per regulatory requirements.
• Interact with healthcare professionals, patients and families to support assessment process.
• Utilize electronic systems and proprietary software to manage assessments.
• Ensure timely completion within scope of practice and contractual requirements.
• Determine a clinical diagnosis considering psychological and behavioral factors.
• Assess psychological, emotional, behavioral, and physical functioning.
• Adhere to HIPAA and privacy/security policies.
