Job summary

Harris Health System is seeking a Paramedic to transport patients via ambulance and to initiate coordination of treatment in the EMS Triage Area across its network in Harris County, Texas.

The role requires graduation from an accredited EMS program, Texas DSHS registration, and EMT-Paramedic certification, with at least one year of Paramedic experience. Flexibility in work schedule is a plus.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

Transports patients via ambulance to/from Harris Health System facilities and/or initiates the coordination of treatment in EMS Triage Area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Graduate of accredited school offering EMS training. Currently registered with the Texas Department of State Health Services. Certified or licensed EMT-P
• Work Experience: 1 year experience as a certified or licensed Paramedic
• Equipment Operated: Ambulance, Cardiac Monitor, Transport Ventilator and/or any equipment pertinent to the care of a patient in the ambulance or EMS Triage Area
