Job summary

Harris Health is seeking a Paramedic to transport patients via ambulance and assist in coordinating treatment within the EMS Triage Area in our Houston facilities.

The role requires EMT-P certification, Texas DHS registration, graduation from an accredited EMS program, and at least 1 year of paramedic experience. Strong communication and medical terminology skills are essential for this public-safety role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited EMS program.
• Currently registered with Texas Department of State Health Services.
• Certified or licensed EMT-P.
• 1 year of experience as a paramedic.
• Equipment operated includes Ambulance, Cardiac Monitor and Transport Ventilator.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients via ambulance to Harris Health System facilities.
• Initiates and coordinates treatment in EMS Triage Area as needed.

Job Summary

Transports patients via ambulance to/from Harris Health System facilities and/or initiates the coordination of treatment in EMS Triage Area.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Graduate of accredited school offering EMS training. Currently registered with the Texas Department of State Health Services. Certified or licensed EMT-P
• Work Experience: 1 year experience as a certified or licensed Paramedic
• Equipment Operated: Ambulance, Cardiac Monitor, Transport Ventilator and/or any equipment pertinent to the care of a patient in the ambulance or EMS Triage Area
