Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Recovery (PRN) duties in a same-day surgery environment. You will provide comprehensive post-operative nursing care under physician orders, monitor patient status, and manage supplies and charges in the center.

Required are an active RN license, ADN/BSN, and BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials, with PACU/ASC experience and orthopedic exposure preferred. This role emphasizes patient privacy and teamwork with the clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or school.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• 2 years PACU/ASC experience preferred.
• Orthopaedic experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assists in nursing care for post-operative patients in a same-day surgery setting.
• Assumes total responsibility for patient care per physician orders and center policies.
• Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
